i just bought my copy of delicious - a food magazine. apparently voted the best in the world. and i am looking thru it now.. while waiting for joyce to call me. anyways.. the photographs of food inside were so well done man. i'm suddenly inspired to become a food photographer. heh.. ohhh to take nice pics of delish food. what a job. and i don't have to be in office wear.

i digress. u know how sometimes, when u're shopping, and u see this thing that jumps up and screams '(insert person's name)'. it's the same with dishes i suppose. cos as i was looking at the ocean trout recipe, it screamed 'papa!! papa!!' no. not the trout calling out for its dad. but the dish just calls out to me as something the dad would love. and also what the daddy would love (they have similar taste in food).

i think both the dad and the daddy would appreciate me cooking that for them. once i get off my lazy ass to even buy the ingredients (back in sg) but grocery shopping in sg is never as fun as it is in perth. love the subi market because it's unlike the wet markets of sg. (wet markets have a diff charm altog and i prefer not getting my jeans stained with fish water) somehow, the veggies always seem fresher and brighter in subi market. the bursts of colours really amazes me no matter how long i shop there.

but unfortunately, the daddy can't taste my cooking. i only wished that i cld have at least made the effort to cook one meal for him. and i know that even if the dish didn't really turn out right, both the daddy and the dad would still eat it and say that it's nice.

i'm now in the process of finding something for the mom and the mummy. hahah the 3 lil monkeys can be settled with just my bbq+coke chicken maryland. heh! it's a real dish. nutella taught me how to cook that man. and i know that kang wld love to makan that as well. it's his fave dish by me. heh. haven't been baking much recently. so i'm pretty keen on starting on some baking. i think i shd bake some cupcakes with really nice and cute looking pastel colours. oh and i just got a recipe for chai cupcakes. going to try that out man. wonder will it be successful.

other news:

• didn't do any work today.. at least not as much as i had wanted to. but i had a pretty good chat with the freds and ryan.. we're going to play golf!! as soon as ryan gets a car.. or i get my license and find a car. either way, we're going to make it to the damm driving range.
• and i just streaked ja's hair. hopefully that will come out well!
• the ALL BLACKS WON AGAINST THE WALLABIES!! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!! DANIEL CARTER IS THE BOMB LAH!! ALRIGHT!!!!
